•July 20, 2022• Christ’s Food Pantry at the First Christian Church in Lovington is announcing the Reaching Rural Veterans initiative, a new effort that will help address needs of low-resource and at-risk rural veterans in Moultrie Co. The Reaching Rural Veterans events will take place every 3rd Thursday from 2-4 pm at 301 S. County St., Lovington. The Reaching Rural Veterans project is supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is facilitated by the Military Family Research Institute (MFRI) at Purdue University. •July 20, 2022• Summer Enrollment Trends Positive Lake Land College Summer enrollment is up nearly 9% as students take advantage of the historic $100 tuition guarantee and flexible scheduling options. With more than 1,400 students enrolled for summer, Lake Land is experiencing an 8.8% increase in headcount and an 8.1% in full time equivalency or FTE.
