In the headline it was incorrectly stated that the district would be replacing the high school. What is actually being considered is the replacement of the middle school building which is 107 years old. SMS National English Honor Society Induction

•April 6, 2022• Sullivan Middle School’s National English Honor Society had their induction on Tuesday, March 29, in the SHS Commons. 27 middle school students were inducted to participate in this pilot program. Tara Bates, the SMS NEHS Chapter Adviser explained that Sullivan is one of only 3 schools in the U.S. to have the honor of piloting this program (the other 2 being in New York and New Jersey). Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
