Sullivan Dance Studio Attends Competition

•March 16 2022• Sullivan Dance Studio’s Competition Team attended their second competition of the year February 24-27 in St. Charles, Missouri. The team had dancers in numbers in many different sessions at the Talent on Parade Dance Competition. LLC Historic Reduction in Tuition

•March 16 2022• Lake Land College is taking a historic step in support of its students and the community by reducing tuition for next year and making college more affordable than ever during a time of rapidly expanding inflation. The Lake Land College Board of Trustees is expected to set in-district tuition at $100 per credit hour, down from $110.50, during the regular meeting on Monday, March 14 at 6 p.m. The new tuition rate, which represents a near 10% reduction, will go into effect for the Summer 2022, Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 terms. The emails haven’t been about political slants, sensationalism or misspellings in headlines but rather how to interpret them. As I’ve noted on a number of occasions, headlines are an art form. Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
