City Council holds special meeting to Award Bid for Water Treatment Plant

25 Years Ago This Week The Sullivan school board meeting had more than 100 spectators and some 25 activists from the University of Illinois and Eastern Illinois University, flanked by community members who were mostly SHS students, who brought posters to protest the district using the term Redskins for sports. •March 9, 2022• Project H.E.L.P. and the Sullivan School District will be offering free developmental screenings on Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25 at the First United Methodist Church, 216 W. Jefferson Street in Sullivan. These screenings provide parents the opportunity to discover how their child is developing in the areas of speech, language, concepts and motor skills.
