City Council Authorizes Issuance of Bonds for Water Plant

The estimated cost of the project including legal fees and other costs of issuance of the bonds is $10,500,000. Mike Kirk had questions about the bonds that were to be issued for water works and sewerage system bonds. Treasurer Sarah Golden explained that the payback time is 40 years. The American Red Cross supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood which includes many local hospital partners. •January 19, 2022• On December 10, 2021, what is now known as The Quad-State Tornado event heavily impacted western Kentucky affecting many people and businesses –including team members of the Hydro-Gear facility in Princeton. Among those, 17 employees lost their home and all belongings with numerous others impacted to varying degrees.
