Back 2 Business Grants Now Available for Small Businesses

•August 18, 2021• by Crystal Reed NP Writer Small business owners who have experienced losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to apply for the Back 2 Business Grant Program. This program is a key component of Governor JB Pritzker’s $1.5 billion economic package designed to maximize the impact of American Rescue Plan funds provided to Illinois. It sets forth $250 million for businesses that have experienced losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic to support them in their recovery. Moultrie County Retired Teachers Association Met Recently

•August 18, 2021• The Moultrie County Retired Teachers Association met August 4, 2021, at the First Christian Church in Sullivan. President Jane McKown opened the meeting by welcoming members both in-person and via Zoom, as well as guests. She shared a bit of poetry and a verse from the Bible. Badman Receives Outstanding Advisor Award From National English Honor Society

Manear Outstanding Advisor from the National English Honor Society for her efforts guiding Sullivan High School’s NEHS chapter. “Together, We Give Back to School”

Sullivan Elementary School recently received 60 backpacks filled with school supplies through Amazon’s “Together, We Give Back to School” campaign. End of the Line Tackle & Bait, an Amazon delivery partner, nominated Sullivan Elementary for the program, and the school’s submission was selected to receive the donation. Pictured (left to right) are Cameron Martin, Taylor Lilly, James Martin, Marla Martin and Angela McRill following the July 27 delivery.
