Douglas-Hart Nature Center Plant A Rainbow

Findlay Walleye Festival 2021

•July 28, 2021• The Findlay Walleye Festival was held on Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24. Friday evening’s activities included several band and inflatables for the kids. On Saturday morning, festivities kicked off with a parade and local law enforcement were this year’s grand marshalls. School Districts Announce Back to School Plans

•July 28, 2021• By Crystal Reed NP Writer Last week, Sullivan and Okaw Valley School districts sent letters to families regarding their back-to-school plans for 2021-2022. Superintendent Ted Walk announced in his letter that Sullivan Schools will operate in a very similar manner as 2019, with the primary exception that masks will be required only when on school buses. The letter continues to state that buildings and school buses will have enhanced cleaning schedules and that good hand hygiene will be encouraged at all grade levels. “Together, We Give Back to School”

Sullivan Elementary School recently received 60 backpacks filled with school supplies through Amazon’s “Together, We Give Back to School” campaign. End of the Line Tackle & Bait, an Amazon delivery partner, nominated Sullivan Elementary for the program, and the school’s submission was selected to receive the donation.
