Sullivan Girls’ Track Places Third, Nuzzo Breaks Pole Vault Record

•June 2, 2021• by Jason Brown NP Sports The Redskins girls’ track and field team finished out its regular season this week and ended on a record-breaking note. Sullivan girls team placed third in its final home quadrangular meet of the season, and Sofia Nuzzo broke the pole vault record. Sullivan scored 49 for third, and Shelbyville won the meet with 90 points. Warrensburg-Latham took second with 80 points, and St. Teresa placed last with 22 points. “Together, We Give Back to School”

Sullivan Elementary School recently received 60 backpacks filled with school supplies through Amazon’s “Together, We Give Back to School” campaign. End of the Line Tackle & Bait, an Amazon delivery partner, nominated Sullivan Elementary for the program, and the school’s submission was selected to receive the donation. Pictured (left to right) are Cameron Martin, Taylor Lilly, James Martin, Marla Martin and Angela McRill following the July 27 delivery.
