SHS Teacher Selected As Representative

•May 5, 2021• Sullivan High School English teacher Cami Badman has been selected as the Midwest Representative for the National English Honor Society. Badman has been sponsoring Sullivan’s NEHS chapter since 2016, and the group’s support of the arts and community service has only increased in that time. Sullivan NEHS students select books for the library to purchase, sponsor book drives and blanket drives, partner with other classes as pen pals, and host an English week competition at the high school. Lady Lakers Basketball Team Member Reflects On National Championship Victory

The Scout School, offered through the Crop Protection Network, consists of 22 webinars from crop protection specialists at 11 Midwest universities. Sullivan Elementary School recently received 60 backpacks filled with school supplies through Amazon’s “Together, We Give Back to School” campaign. End of the Line Tackle & Bait, an Amazon delivery partner, nominated Sullivan Elementary for the program, and the school’s submission was selected to receive the donation. Pictured (left to right) are Cameron Martin, Taylor Lilly, James Martin, Marla Martin and Angela McRill following the July 27 delivery.
