The Knights kicked off their season with a 21-16 loss to a tough Cumberland team at Toledo Friday. ALAH took a 3-0 lead with a 33-yard field goal by Aaron Likens, but Cumberland scored on the next two possessions for 14-3 lead in the second quarter. •March 24, 2021• With 64 percent of the state’s seniors having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of Monday, March 22, Illinois is nearing the “bridge” phase of reopening that will allow for greater capacity limits at businesses and social gatherings. That number must hit 70 percent to enter the bridge phase, which would trigger another 28-day monitoring period. •March 24, 2021• The Moultrie-Sullivan Fair Board held their Annual Fair Board meeting on March 11 at the Moultrie-Sullivan Fairgrounds where they elected 2021 officers. Nick Voegel was elected president, Libby Spannagel as Vice-President, Dale Crawford as Secretary/Treasurer and Ginger Voegel as Public Relations. The Moultrie-Sullivan Fair will be held June 25-26, 2021. The tentative schedule for the fair will be published soon on their website and Facebook page.
