The boys’ team defeated Shelbyville and Mount Pulaski with help from Trey Hall last Tuesday and placed second in a quadrangular last Wednesday. Hall earned medalist with a score of 44. The Timberwolves combined for a team total time of 1:36:49 and 31 points.. Argenta-Oreana High School placed second with 51 points, and Sullivan had 63 points for third place. City Council Hears Sullivan PD Plans To Have K-9 Unit
•September 16, 2020• By Crystal Reed NP Writer The City Council heard from Officer Tom LeHew during Monday nights meeting about plans by Sullivan Police Department to obtain a K-9 unit. He said that the unit would be self sustaining and the department is looking at fundraisers and grants to raise money for the unit. So far $7,000 has been raised for the unit. Saturday, Sept. 12, for the boys’ teams, Sullivan placed sixth-out-of-six teams with a score of 158 in the Shelbyville Trails Invitational.
