ALAH Girls’ Track Team Take LOVC Track and Field Championship

•May 8, 2019• By Jason Brown NP Sports Editor Boys’ and girls’ track and field teams competed in the last (as currently constructed) Little Okaw Valley Conference Championship meet at Thomas Bradford Field in Arcola Friday. In the girls’ 44th annual meet, Kenli Nettles helped Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond take the LOVC championship with 99 points, while Okaw Valley placed second with 93.6 points in the 13-team meet. Nettles scored the bulk of the Knights’ by winning four events: the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, 200-meter dash and 300-meter hurdles. •May 8, 2019• Secretary of State Jesse White in cooperation with Elizabeth Titus Memorial Library in Sullivan is offering drivers a chance to renew their driver’s license or vehicle registration renewal sticker, obtain a duplicate or corrected license, or obtain an Illinois identification card. White’s mobile unit will be available at the Sullivan library, located at 2 West Water in Sullivan, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 16.
