Ted Walk, Sullivan CUSD #300 At Sullivan Schools, we have a number of pre-kindergarten students who attend Project Help, which is a preschool program organized and ran by the Assistant Director of Eastern Illinois Area of Special Education. It is a program that is funded largely through a Preschool-for-All Grant. For about the past decade, the district has leased a classroom off-site for students participating in this program. Earline Reed Earline Reed, 85, of Sullivan, passed away at 9:41 p.m. Saturday March 23, 2019 in Eastview Terrace in Sullivan. Celebration of Life services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday April 6 in Reed Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Charliam Renner officiating. Sandra Brownlee Sandra K. Brownlee, 73, of Decatur, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 in her residence. Sandra was born June 1, 1945, a daughter of James “Jay” Speagle and Norma Morey-Crutcher. Surviving are her son Rodney Brownlee of Decatur; daughters Diane Strode of Decatur and Laurie (Val) McKean of Decatur; sister Donna (Terry) Beasley of Macon; half-siblings Jerry, Danny, Vicki, and Jay; grandchildren Koren (Fred), Ashley (Devin), Skyler, Brandy, Drew, and Krissy; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a special nephew Wade Beasley. … Read More

He would use our team of Molly and Queen to break the young horses to work in the fields. The Kirby Foods meat department delivered hams to the Moultrie County Food Pantry on Wednesday the 16th, thanks to a generous anonymous donation. The hams will provide a nice Easter dinner.
