•January 29, 2020• Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 6 the Moultrie County Health Department, in collaboration with Mid-Illinois Senior Services, Inc., will sponsor a “Take Charge of Your Diabetes” program. The program will be held at Mid-Illinois Senior Services, Inc. located at 114 E. Jefferson, Sullivan. The program is free and open to anyone who must deal with diabetes. •January 29, 2020• There will be a spaghetti supper for Tony Tedrick of Lovington from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Church of God Life Center, 301 W. State St., Lovington. Tony has necrotizing pancreatitis, uncontrollable diabetes and liver disease. His pancreas has died and will need to be removed. Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago is the sixth hospital in the U.S. to perform this type of surgery. Friday, the Knights knocked off Tri-County 68-50 in Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament at Arcola. ALAH held the Titans to one basket in the first quarter for a 20-3 lead and held on from there. Rusty worked at Hydro Gear lived in Bethany and left wife Quinn and five children to go on without him. All proceeds go to assist the family.
