Redskins Volleyball Prepares for Senior Night

•October 23, 2019• The Redskin volleyball team dropped two games this past week. Sullivan lost to Windsor/Stewardson Strasburg last Tuesday and St. Teresa Thursday. 25 Years Ago This Week The Sullivan Sixth Grade Singers participated in a 50’s Sock Hop. With the girls in their poodle skirts and boys in their rolled up white t-shirts, a photo shows Dana Howell, Amanda Martin, Lindsey Hagan, Rachael Howard, Tyson Grooms, Ryan Crawford and Adam Yoder. Sherry E Harris of Sullivan received an honorable mention ribbon for her art exhibit “The Lion Sleeps” at the 40th Annual Paris Art Exhibit. Knight’s Volleyball Splits Lincoln Prairie Match Ups

Honors for Sullivan Runners

•October 23, 2019• By Jason Brown NP Sports Editor Three Sullivan cross country runners earned All-Central Illinois Conference honors in the sixth annual championship meet Thursday (17th). For the girls’ team, freshman Tori Turnbaugh placed sixth with a time of 20:38.89, and senior Katherine Kite ran a 21:08.38 for eighth place to earn all-conference honors. For the boys’ team, Chase McClure placed eighth with a time 17:57.95 to earn the honor. The boys’ team placed fifth overall with 95 points. Clinton won the meet with a score of two. BASO Car Show a success

The Bethany Advocates and Support Organization hosted its annual car show on August 22 at Crowder Park. The perfect afternoon weather bought out 52 entries and many enthusiastic onlookers. Greg Fitzgerald’s 1966 Pontiac GTO took home Best off Show honors.
