Celebration of Life services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with Bob Vail officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday. The boys’ team set a total of 16 new personal records and two first-place finishers. Leighton Burcham long jumped 19 feet 11 inches for first place and took third in the triple jump at 37 feet 9.5 inches. The Redskins lost to Warrensburg-Latham 6-5 Friday, Shelbyville 8-2 last Wednesday and Warrensburg-Latham again 5-2 last Tuesday. Monday against Meridian, Redskins Tim Lawyer had two hits, and Ian Hill knocked in a run to help Sullivan to a 2-0 win. •April 24, 2019• An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 29 in the Okaw Valley High School gym in Bethany sponsored by the student council. Any healthy individual age 16 through 75 who meets weight requirements may donate blood. Donors should eat a healthy meal and drink an extra 16 oz. of water and fluids before donating, and they must bring identification showing a picture and a signature.
