25 Years Ago This Week

The annual homecoming festivities are being planned in Lovington, Each day the high school will have a different theme.  Monday is Purple and Gold day/ crazy hair day, Tuesday is Career Day, Wednesday is Opposite sex day, Thursday is Nerd Day, and Friday will be Red and Gold Day. The Homecoming Court includes king candidates Justin Colclasure, Jim Minor, and Joe Sanner and queen candidates Jenny Elliott, Casee Mechling and Angie Watts. Attendants are juniors, Adam Daily, Cameron Wiley, Lisa Byers and Krista Stinson; sophomores Luke Boddy and Heidi Stiner; and freshmen, Ed Sanner and Rebeckah Boddy.  Also featured will be Prince Tyler Dixson and Princess Elise Wildman.
Lance Corporal Chad Reed, traveling on the USS Nashville, has landed with American Forces on the north shore of Haiti.  Reed is ordinarily stationed at Camp LeJeune in North Carolina.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
