Dr. Kurt Dearnbarger of Decatur was to establish a practice in Lovington that spring. The Lovington Area Development Committee was working with Decatur Family Practice, the medical group with which Dearnbarger was affiliated, to equip the Lovington Medical Center with instruments necessary to establish a family practice.
Jeremy Hawyer, who was a pressman at the News Progress, and his friend Ryan Fayhee tried out the Jacksonville Florida Police Department’s “Rider Program.” On the eve of New Year’s Eve they went on a ride along with separate officers from 5 pm to 3 am.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
