Luke Standerfer and Nick Parks went to state in track and came out successful. Standerfer captured a state title in the 3200 and Parks claimed second in the same event.
D&D Liquidation, a new business in Sullivan, scheduled a grand opening. Dave Eckel was owner of the store. The store sold products that were overstocked or discontinued by companies and retailers. They also bought products from bankrupt companies at a reduced price. The store dealt in everything from electronics to office supplies to residential furniture to Beanie Babies.
The Edwards family, John, Karen, Clint and Ben got their kicks two nights a week on the mat of a local Taekwondo Club. All four family members have earned their black belts.
