Sullivan attorney Steve Mayberry of Bethany was reinstated as a county board candidate following an Illinois Attorney General opinion clearing possible conflicts.
A federal mediator was called to intervene in the Bethany School Board and Bethany Education Association in hopes of reaching a contract.
