Legion now less than $5,000 out from total payment

Thanks to IGA customers during a two week fundraiser campaign, the Sullivan American Legion has emerged $600 closer to their final $6,000 payment for this coming Fourth of July fireworks celebration.
“It was not as much as we had hoped for, but it will help,” said IGA manager Pat Stinson, who this week formally presented Mike Keown of the Legion with the $600 check.
