It was senior night in Bethany with the Okaw Valley Timberwolves winning over Decatur LSA 50-29.

Honored seniors include guard Gretchen Macklin and forward Devan Nave.

Okaw Valley started strong with a 14-8 first quarter. The Timberwolves continued the pace with a 16-9 second quarter, putting the Okaw Valley girls’ team ahead 30-17 at the half.

LSA’s Lions scored eight points to Okaw Valley’s 12 in the third. In the fourth quarter it was 8-4 Timberwolves for the 50-29 win.

Paige Robinson led the Timberwolves scoring, hitting eight field goals, a three point shot and three free throws for 22 points.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
