What could go wrong Saturday, did go wrong for SOV.
Noah Myer rushed for 118 yards with two touchdowns, and an opportunistic Auburn defense forced seven turnovers to advance past the SOV Redskins 36-14 in the first round of the ISHA Class 3A playoffs Saturday.
The Redskins would draw first blood but watched as the Trojans scored the next 36 points unanswered, ending one of the Redskins most successful football campaigns in recent memory. Auburn will host Carlinville next week in the second round of the ISHA playoffs.
