During Sullivan’s Homecoming weekend 45 classmates of SHS class of ‘68 joined in celebration for their 50th class reunion. The four day event brought members of the class from Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and the state of Washington to celebrate. The class graduated May 29, 1968.
The celebration kicked off with a Sadie Hawkins Event held at Standerfer Construction in Mattoon. Those attending enjoyed a wiener roast, hayride, chicken bingo, The Dunn Brothers Band, and a pie in the face contest.
