Sullivan High School Class of 2022 graduates toss their caps into the air at the end of the graduation ceremony. There were 67 graduates that received diplomas during the ceremony.

Sullivan High School held an outdoor commencement ceremony for the class of 2022 on Sunday, May 22. This year’s class numbered 67 graduates total. Senior Class President Alyssa Thompson gave the welcome address.
Thompson said that high school in general was something she didn’t want to do again. She said because they were unsure about when tests and papers were due, the class was unable to enjoy their time there. Also, their sophomore year was cut in half by COVID-19. Thompson thanked all the teachers for making the high school experience more normal.
Sullivan High School principal Daniel Allen recognized graduates who are enlisting in the armed forces. Those graduates are Dakota Freese, Ryan Villalobos and Kahlil Walker, all in Illinois Army National Guard.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
