Six run fifth inning puts Maroa up past Sullivan in 13-3 loss at home

Caught up in the fussy, cool Illinois spring weather last Friday, Sullivan hosted Class 2A no. 3 Maroa-Forsyth, and though the Lady Trojans got up quick with three runs in the first, Sullivan responded in the second, scoring three to tie the game. But not only would that cap all the production Sullivan could muster, but it would be followed by a devastating six run fifth inning that led Maroa-Forsyth to a 13-3 win.
