Raiders’ comeback falls short

Up 21-0 at halftime, it was looking like a rout for SOV on what was shaping up to be an unfortunate senior night for the Central A&M Raiders. But this past Friday night the Redskins were lucky to get out of Mowequa with a win.
Things got started quickly for SOV after the Raiders’ first drive stalled, and the ‘Skins scored on their second play from scrimmage. A breakout Chanley Heykoop run to start the drive set things up for a 64-yard strike to Alec Ballinger on the ensuing play. The touchdown pass from senior quarterback Nick Frerichs would not be his last of the evening.
