Spirited Lady Knights Take Lady Indians at Home

The Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Lady Knights kept the pressure on Neoga’s Lady Indians, pulling away with an 82-74 home court win January 7.
Neoga started the first quarter scoring 23 to the Lady Knights 19 points. The tide turned in the second quarter with the ALAH team hitting 22 to the Lady Indians 16 points, putting the Lady Knights ahead 41-39 at the half.
The Lady Knights scored 18 to the Lady Indians nine points in the third quarter. Neoga came back strong in the fourth quarter with a 26 point run to the Lady Knights 23, but it wasn’t enough and ALAH won 82-74.
Hannah Wallen had a big night at the free throw line scoring 14-17 and six field goals for 26 points. Megan Fifer scored six from the field and was 2-3 from the free stripe for 14 points; Logan Kauffman had five field goals and hit 3-4 from the free throw line for 13 points. Mycaela Miller hit one three point shot, three field goals and was 2-5 from the free stripe for 11 points. Liz Shipman hit a three point shot, three field goals and one free shot for 10 points.
