Sullivan Bass Fishing Competes at Sectional
The Sullivan Bass Fishing team competed at Sectionals recently. They finished weighing in at 4 lbs 10 oz, but did not advance to state. SHS Girls Track Team Finishes Fourth

The SHS Girls Track Team had a very successful CIC meet on Thursday, May 4 hosted by Central A & M. They won 5 events and had 6 athletes that received All Conference Accolades for the first time in over 15 years. As a team they finished in 4th place with 115 points, losing to the defending State Champions of Tuscola and a very talented group of ladies from Shelbyville. First place finishes went to Cassidy Short in the Long Jump, Izzy Hay in the Triple Jump, Kharli Kelly in the High Jump, and the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relays of Madalyn Booker, Cassidy Short, Alaina Moore, and Jalexis Bennett. They had a lot of double points come from our younger athletes, as it is a bright future for our Girls Track Team. The team will finish up their season in Bethany on Thursday at the OV Sectional. SHS Girls Track Finishes First at Redskin Invite

SHS Girls Track finished in 1st place with 134 points at the 10 Team Redskin Invite Monday, May 1. They had some outstanding performances to finish off their regular season heading into Conference on Thursday, May 4. Riane Bear finished 1st in the High Jump, along with Izzy Hay picking up wins in the Triple Jump and 100 Hurdles. Sofia Nuzzo also won the Pole Vault, while the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relays of Madalyn Booker, Cassidy Short, Alaina Moore, and Jalexis Bennett dominated the field picking up two more wins. Sullivan Girls Track Finishes Sixth at Monticello

At a banquet held on April 12th, the following swimmers were recognized for their accomplishments throughout the season:
Girls team: Madalyn Booker, Audrey Summers, Zoe Conlin, Emily Crosier, Alivia Tippit
Boys team: Ethan Schmohe, Matthew Wesselman, Isaac Chambers, Liam Donovan, Johnathan Iacobazzi
The girls team Captain Madalyn Booker earned the High Point Award, and Alivia Tippet was recognized for being Most Improved female swimmer. Read More

SHS Girls Track Finishes Second In Tri-County Meet

SHS Girls Track had a very successful night on Monday, April 17 as they finished in 2nd place with 113 points at the 10 Team Tri-County meet. The 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relays of Madalyn Booker, Cassidy Short, Alaina Moore, and Jalexis Bennett picked up two first place finishes with PR times of 51.97 and 1:50. Booker also won the 200 in 27.8, Bennett won the 100 in 13.50, and Short tied in the Long Jump for first at 5.15 meters. Point scorers are listed below: Read More
