A benefit for Barbara Vail will be held on Saturday, September 25 from 4-9 pm at the Sullivan VFW. There will be a fried chicken dinner from 4 to 6 pm with carry out option available. Tickets are $10 for the dinner and $5 for kids. Tickets can be purchased at Sullivan Senior Center or Fast Stop in Sullivan. Please buy your ticket before the benefit. There will be a silent auction from 4 pm to TBA and a live auction at 6 pm. There will be southern gospel music performed by State of Grace and special guest Greg Ridenhour from 7 pm to 9 pm. Donations for auction items are still being accepted, please contact committee members. To make a monetary donation, there is an account set up at First Community Bank in Sullivan. Sadly, Barb lost her battle with sarcoidosis. Barb and Bob have been a very active part of the Sullivan community. Proceeds will still go towards medical and final expenses.
