Sullivan’s Lady Redskins made a strong showing in the first half at Tuscola Dec. 3 but lost momentum and the game 39-32.

“I thought we played a solid first half defensively,” coach Sheri McCain began. “We held them to 14 points.

Tuscola outscored Sullivan 10-7 in the first quarter, but the Lady Redskins held the Lady Warriors to four points in the second quarter. Sullivan went into the half ahead 15-14.

“The only really major thing I think we didn’t do well was take care of the ball, especially in the second half,” she continued. “We had too many forced turn overs.”

Coach McCain pointed out that Brooke Tuttle stepped up with eight steals for the Lady Redskins as well as hitting three field goals for six points.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
