Stuff ’N Puff Winners Announced
More than 150 runners completed the 6th Annual Stuff ‘N Puff 5k course starting on the track at Sullivan High School and winding through Wyman Park.
Sullivan graduates took the top three places. Cameron Harvey, a North Central College track and cross country runner, finished first with a time of 15:38. Bill Brown, an Illinois Central College track and cross country runner, finished second with a time of 16:41, and Michael Giberson, a former Aurora University track and cross country runner finished third with a time of 16:54. Neil Yockey, a Shelbyville garduate and Murray State cross country athlete, finished fourth in 17:20, and current Sullivan-Okaw Valley cross country runner, Ethan Lehman, was fifth with a time of 18:29. Grant Tice of Sullivan was the Masters winner, finishing seventh overall with a time of 18:55.
Chloe Spain of Shelbyville was the top female finisher with a time of 22:20, beating out Sullivan High School girls’ track and assistant cross country coach, Kali Taylor by three seconds. Kristi Sabo of Teutopolis was the Masters winner, finishing third overall with a time of 23:11.
Sullivan Middle and Elementary School medal winners included Logan Pedigo, Dalton Rogers, Drew Rogers, Cullen Dyer, and JJ Standerfer as well as Abby Cravatta, Brooke Tuttle, Emily White, and Kelsie Winings.
Members of the SOV cross country team medal winners included Evan Blakey, Ethan Lehman, Clayton Waldhoff, Keegan Kruckeberg, Brent Mauck, Adam White, Trevor Tarr, Shawn Cody, and Alex Harvey as well as Bailee Pratt, Allison Miller, Elissa Stewart, Becca Pratt, April Shuman, and Tori Floyd.
Proceeds go to the Sullivan-Okaw Valley cross country team.
