The Sullivan Redskins have an overall winning record. And in the conference, they are undefeated. This is thanks to two big wins over conference opponents last week.
First up was Cerro Gordo/Bement. Defensively, their main focus was Will Fuson. Aside from his quickness, he is dangerous behind the arc. He proved so by draining five threes in the evening. Unfortunately, no other CGB player got out of single digits in scoring. For Sullivan, Drayden Watkins led the team with 13 points. He was followed closely by Cam Watkins who had 12. James Feldkamp had eight points, including two first quarter threes while Tegan McRill had seven points. DeMarkus Moore had six points while Cooper Christensen contributed with five of his own. The boys won 53-31.
