The giant wheel joins a variety of family friendly rides and amusements provided by Conner Amusements.
Carnival action begins June 30 from 1-5 p.m. Saturday and again from 6-10 p.m. (Sunday through Tuesday 5-10)
The Beardstown based company is bringing their family friendly carnival back for a second year.
The 4th of July parade circles the square at noon with a watermelon eating contest, sack races and turtle races kicking off in Wyman Park beginning at 2 p.m.
A huge fireworks display is over Wyman Lake beginning at dusk.
The annual celebration is brought to the city of Sullivan thanks to the efforts of the Sullivan American Legion Post #68 and the generosity of Sullivan area merchants.
