Sullivan Elementary Gold Slip Winners for the month of April are Mitchell Hooten who was honest about an assignment he had turned in late. He had a chance to get a perfect grade and a piece of candy but was honest with his teacher, missing out on the awards.

Leanna Jones approached a new student who always plays alone and asked him to play with her and her friends.

During an unannounced fire drill Charlie DuPron’s first concern was not for himself but to help a teacher with a broken foot into a wheelchair and get her out of the building.

Taylar helped pick up containers that fell in the school entrance and, going the extra mile, carried them out to the car for the person who dropped them.
