The Sullivan FFA officers traveled to the National FFA Center in Indianapolis, Indiana for their annual Chapter Officer Leadership Training program. The program’s theme was Leadership Launch based on the movie Apollo 13.

Officers participated in a variety of team building and problem solving exercises designed to promote leadership skills, similar to those exemplified by the astronauts on tApollo 13. This space mission was a deemed a “successful failure” by NASA, as one of the oxygen tanks on the lunar module exploded three days into the mission forcing the astronauts, Mission Control staff, and the flight engineers to work together to bring the astronauts home safely.
