Sullivan Girls Defeat Shelbyville

The Sullivan girls’ basketball team defeated Shelbyville last Thursday and won in the first round of the Central Illinois Conference Tournament Saturday to improve the teams’ overall record to 11-8.
Last Thursday in the Hoopin’ for a Cure game to help support Megan Buxton Thompson the Redskins defeated Shelbyville 73-16.
“It was a good win, and we were able to play all of the girls tonight,” said
Sheri McCain.
The Redskins did not allow the Rams to score a single point in the first quarter, while Sullivan scored 17.
