Each year, all Illinois school districts are required to have an external audit conducted. This process was completed this summer with the results being shared at our most recent school board meeting.
Once again, I am pleased to report that there were no significant findings that need to be addressed as a result of our annual audit. There were a number of highlights that I would like to share.
Our per capita tuition charge, essentially how much money is spent to educate each student, decreased by about $140 this school year. This was somewhat influenced by an increase in enrollment of approximately forty students.
