Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond varsity basketball traveled to Strasburg December 1 with the Stew-Stras team winning 41-26.

The Knights first quarter kept pace with the Comets 7-9. In the second the Comets outscored ALAH 14-3, going into the half ahead 23-10.

A 10-5 third quarter put the Stew-Stras team safely in the lead in spite of a 11-8 final quarter run by the Knights.

ALAH made 10 of 29 shots from the field for 34 percent; two of six three point shots for 33 percent and four of nine free throws for 44 percent shooting averages.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
