Third straight accomplishment for Cornwell and company

For the third straight year the Arthur-Lovington Lancers swept their home tournament, defeating Deland-Weldon, Cowden-Herrick, Villa Grove, and Atwood-Hammond.

The Lancers exhibited dominance at times throughout the day but weakness at others.

The biggest challenge for the Lancers came in the 8 a.m. opener against Deland-Weldon, who incidentally forgot some jerseys and had to wear the Lancers’ basketball uniforms to play.      Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
