Timberwolves Finish Strong Against Hilltoppers

What in the first half looked as though it would be a close game Nov. 28 got blown out of the water in the second half by host Okaw Valley’s two biggest scorers.
It all started with the Timberwolves down 12-8 in the final seconds of the first quarter. It ended with a 45-27 Okaw Valley win.
Mt. Pulaski had scored with just over six seconds left, looking to take the momentum into the second, but Paige Robinson didn’t get the memo.
Robinson took the inbounds pass and calmly took the rock just over half court before pulling a “Steph Curry” and swishing a shot just inside the half court stripe to cut the deficit to one.
