Waller Completes Residency
Christine J. Waller, M.D. completed her residency in General Surgery on June 20, 2014. During her time at University of Iowa, she also completed a fellowship in Critical Care and was a winner of the 2013 Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award in Surgery. During her final year of residency, she was Administrative Chief Resident. She has accepted a position with Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI. Dr. Waller, her husband Jonathan, and their daughter Leah will relocate to the area in July. Her daughter Ashlynne Steen resides in Springfield, Ill. with her husband, Dr. Sven Steen. Dr. Waller is the daughter of Bob and Teresa Lane of Sullivan and the late Jane Wiley.
