It didn’t matter who was throwing for Warrensburg or what pitch was thrown, Nick Frerichs hit the ball, and hard.
Although the Cardinals jumped out to a 2-0 lead after a half inning, Frerichs sent a shot down the left field line that rolled to the wall, scoring Alec Ballinger who was off with the pitch.
It was also Frerichs in the home half of the seventh who started the Redskin rally from down 4-1 with a double to the left centerfield gap, scoring Atchison who walked.
