The Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg softball team picked up its 20th win of the season capturing another three wins this week.

WSS not only defeated, but also dominated Nokomis, St. Anthony and Farina South Central this past week.

Monday against Nokomis, Megan Schlechte pitched a two-hit shutout while the Hatchets’ offense score 11 runs for the 5-inning win.

The game was close until WSS plated four runs in the third inning, three runs in the fourth inning and three runs in the fifth inning.

The Hatchets combined for 15 hits.

Calla Roney was 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs, and Schlechte tallied two hits, two runs scored and three RBIS.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
