Southern Gospel Concert

Echoes of Grace, a southern gospel music group from Decatur, will be in concert at Allenville Christian Church on Saturday, March 11 at 6 pm. A free will offering will be collected and refreshments will follow the concert.
Bethany Senior Citizen Potluck

The Bethany Senior Citizen Potluck will be Wednesday, March 15 at Bethany Firehouse. Bingo is at 10 am and meal at 11 am. Corn beef and cabbage furnished. All welcome.
Monthly Quarter Madness

Moultrie County Monthly Quarter Madness will hold their March Quarter Auction on Wednesday, March 8. The event will be held at the Sullivan American Legion. Sullivan High School FCCLA is the charity of the month. SHS FCCLA uses funds for various competitions by their members, service projects, networking and offset other club expenses. Vendors at the event could include: direct sales such as Avon, Scentsy, JBloom Jewelry, Thirty-One, Tastefully Simple, Paper Pei (formerly Usbourne Books), Pampered Chef, PLUS different craft vendors, hair bows, boutique clothing, shoes, accessories and more. Come shop the vendors and stay for the Quarter Auction. Bring your quarters for charity item and extra bidding. All-In-Paddle will be $20. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the Quarter Auction begins at 6:30 pm. All ages are welcome to attend. Food will be available for purchase through Highway Heartburn Food Truck in the Legion Parking Lot. Drive Thru Dinner

A drive thru dinner fundraiser for OV scholarships will be held on Monday, March 20 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Findlay American Legion. The meal includes homemade chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner roll and Texas sheet cake. Tickets are $10 in advance only. Tickets will be sold from March 7-17. Mobile Food Pantry in Lovington

The University of Illinois Extension in cooperating partnership with sponsor Decatur Catholic Charities will be hosting a mobile food pantry on Wednesday, April 5 from 4 to 5 pm at the Lovington Ambulance Building. A mobile food pantry delivers a 2 week supply of food per family in rural communities. Any individual or family that does not have a steady food supply qualifies to receive food. No financial information is required to reply. You must register by Monday, March 27. To register, sign up at Christ’s Pantry during their open hours on March 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm or March 16 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm or call the church office at 217-873-4692 and someone will return your call.
