Pictured above is a group photo of what is thought to have been taken at the “new” brick Lovington Grade School around 1908. This is based on the approximate age of the young girl in front. Her name was Verle Rhodes. She was the daughter of Victor & Myrtle Clore Rhodes. Victor taught at Lovington high school for several years.
