Foodmobile in Sullivan Saturday
Eastern Illinois Foodbank will be distributing a truckload of food to hungry area families. The distribution will be held at Sullivan VFW Post 6410 (1146 State Hwy 32, Sullivan) on June 7 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. All Moultrie County residents who meet income eligibility criteria are welcome (see table below). May in Illinois: Warmer Than Average, Dry in the West
The statewide average temperature for May in Illinois was 63.9 degrees F, which is 1.2 degrees above average. American Cancer Society to “Paint the Town Purple” in Celebration of Relay For Life of Moultrie County
The American Cancer Society will “Paint the Town Purple” in celebration of its annual Relay For Life event, Friday, June 13. Relay For Life volunteers will be encouraging area groups, churches, businesses, and homes by decorating the towns for the Relay For Life of Moultrie County. By “painting the towns” of Moultrie County, the community can join the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event. Read More
