New Sign
The sign on the Sullivan IGA was changed over to Kirby Foods last Tuesday. The company has 16 stores and they are in the process of branding the company name. About half of the stores have received new signs and this point.

WHS Homecoming Court
Windsor High School will be celebrating Homecoming the week of September 27 thru October 2. The Homecoming Volleyball game will begin at 5:00 p.m. on October 1st. The Homecoming Dance will be held outdoors at the High School on October 2. Coronation will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the dance will be 8:00pm until 11:00pm.

Showing Appreciation For First Responders
The Sullivan Baking Brigade delivered a variety of treats to Illinois State Police, Moultrie County Sheriff’s Department, Sullivan Police Department and Sullivan Fire and Ambulance Department to show appreciation for all they do. The jumbo cards were made by the Spanish Club from Sullivan High School.

Civic Center Open House
The Sullivan Civic Center held an open house on September 11. The event included vendor booths, games and activities. Pictured above is a safety demonstration that the Moultrie County Dive Rescue team did during the event.
