Harold (Ruty) Eugene Rutan, 85, of Arthur, died at 1:46 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at his residence.
Harold was born February 4, 1933 in Charleston, a son of Clifford and Olive Bryant Rutan. He married Betty Wood in Arthur January 13, 1979, and she survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Dawn (Michael) Moutray of Varna; stepdaughter Lisa (Dick) Agge of Sullivan; grandsons Tyler (Kate) Moutray of Magnolia, Ill., Ryan (Brittney) Moutray of Peru, Ill. and Nicholas (Shaina) Wood of Texas; granddaughters Beth (Ryan) McCann of Imperial, Missouri, Cathryn Agge of Greenwood, Indiana and Megan (Jason) Wood of Edwardsville; great-grandchildren Avery, Morgan, Taylor, Charlotte, Kennedy, Delaney, and Nolan; brother Charles Rutan of Ashmore and sister Vera Hackett of Charleston.
