Celebration of Life services for Paul Carnes, 81, of Charleston, formerly of Kaneville, Ill., were at 2 p.m. Monday in Reed Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Paul McGhghy officiating. Burial with military rites was in Camfield Cemetery in Sullivan.
He died at 11:51 a.m. Thursday November 13, 2014 in Charleston Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Carmen Kinser
A memorial service for Carmen J. Kinser, 78, of Duluth, Ga. was held at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 7 in Campus Church of Christ with burial in Peachtree Memorial Park, both in Georgia. Arrangements were handled by Crowell Brothers Funeral Home Peachtree Chapel in Norcross/Peachtree Corners, Ga.

Funeral services for Merrill E. Pound, 84, of Decatur were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Sullivan. Burial with military rites by the Bethany American Legion Post # 507 was in Marrowbone Township Cemetery in Bethany.
He passed away at 9:10 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2014.
Merrill was born November 17, 1929 in Sullivan, a son of Frank and Ruth Johnson Pound. He married Myrta Clare Scott January 19, 1950 in Moultrie County. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was retired from A.E. Staley-Tate & Lyle in Decatur after more than 40 years. Merrill was involved in starting up new plants around the world. He also owned and operated Elmer’s Ole Time Inn in Decatur. Merrill was also a co-owner with his wife Myrta of Clare’s Family Restaurant in Decatur. He was a member of Jonathan Creek Christian Church in Sullivan and Staley’s Retired Forman’s Club.

Chad Loy
Justin Chad Loy, 45, of Kingman, Ariz. died Oct. 8, 2014 in Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Ariz.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at the VFW in Sullivan.
Chad was born Nov. 15, 1968 in Decatur, a son of Ron Loy and Anne Emel Loy.

Russell Glen Loveall, 57, of Raritan Township, N.J., formerly of Sullivan, died Saturday, October 25, 2014, in the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.
Funeral services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street in Flemington, N.J.

She passed away at 12:50 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014 in Carle Hospital in Urbana.
Pamela was born July 16, 1970 in Mattoon, the daughter of Joseph Allen and Donna Eversole Whitaker. She married Brent Jon Buckalew September 5, 1992 at the Eagle Creek Resort.

James M. “Matt” Kracht, 87, of Franklin Grove, passed away at 8:05 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2014, in his home with his family members present.
Visitation will be 3–5 p.m. Thursday in Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon, followed by a 5:30 p.m. funeral service. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Eagle River, Wisc.
